Saw this video earlier, made me sick that people like this exist.
What an absolute arsehole. I’d have a hard time trying not to get involved too. Complete ignorant bitch. I feel so sorry for that wee boy, he’s going to grow up with the most narrow minded views and believe that that shit is right.
Disgusting.
What the woman says in this video is appalling and inexcusable - the views expressed demonstrate exactly the kind of ignorance that birth this kind of attitude and if it weren’t for the child on her knee, I suspect she would have been met with much more (and much justified) aggressive responses - however, I think a lot of people are overlooking other important factors. The woman in this video does not appear stable nor ‘sane’ - anyone who has a grasp of either reality or their own mind would not put themselves in such a dangerous position when with their child in an entirely unprovoked situation, and furthermore, would hopefully not defend or present this argument in the first place. Had she been on a bus filled with white people, I believe she could have just as easily become this aggressive and offensive. It’s easy to call her an arsehole and say she should not exist, but that over simplifies everything about this. She too, is someone who appears to have been failed by the system, someone completely out of touch with society and with little or no chance at getting back in - she is angry, she is ignorant and she, as so many others in her position are, is misplaced in her blame. As truly disturbing as this footage is, it is not plausible to hold her accountable for what is expressed here. It’s worth saying that this video is tragic for more than one reason.
Well said.
I’d agree she doesn’t seem stable. And people (including myself when I first saw this) commented on the child, and what a shame it is that he will grow up being narrow-minded, through no fault of his own. Isn’t that likely to be what happened to her?
Not justifyin’, just putting my tuppence worth in.
